Dogs are a man’s best friend because of their loveable and protective instincts. They have a huge number of breeds because of the cross mating of different breeds which results in a new type of breed. These have resulted in confusion of which dog would be called of its right breed. This is also the case of the two dog breeds cane corso and boerbel.
Being kept as a hunter, guardian, and companion, the cane corso is an Italian breed of dog with a large body. The cane corso belongs to the Italian Molosser, a group of dog breed. The boerbel on the other hand, is also a large dog breed that has its origins in South Africa when the Europeans have settled to live in this continent. The boerbel is kept as a guard for the farms and ranches and they are also recognized as useful trackers of hunted animals.
The boerbels are had the advantage in terms of their body because they are ranging from 60-70 centimeters tall while the cane corso is just about 62-69 centimeters. The cane corso weighs just about 40 to 50 kilograms while the boerbel is weighing massively with 50 to 80 kilograms.
